What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile image through our authentication provider (Clerk). When you use Tether, we store your journal reflections, invitation codes, and vault membership data.
How we use your data
Your reflections are private. We store them securely in our database (Supabase) and only display them to you and the members of your Tether vault. We never read, analyze, or sell your reflections. We use your email to send invitation notifications and account-related communications only.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe handles all payment data in compliance with PCI DSS standards. We store only a reference to your Stripe customer ID and payment intent IDs for record-keeping.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security policies that ensure only authorized users can access their own data. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
